Each year, North Central Guide Outfitters Association sponsors
weekend fishing trips for children of the Child Development Centre of Prince George and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Prince
George. One Guide Outfitter volunteers to host the children and their families or the children and their big brother or big
sister for the weekend at no cost to the families or organizations. 2005 and 2006 Celebrations were hosted by Lobo Peak
Guide Outfitters. In 2007 a couple of different outfitters including Lobo Peak, took the kids on a jet boat trip up the Fraser
River from Prince George to Huble Homestead where we had a picnic lunch, a tour of the historic site and made icecream the
old fashioned way!
